Tracey and Ed's Rustic Winter Wedding Flowers, New Place

A lovely winter wedding with a rustic feel, here are Tracey and Ed's flowers. The venue is New Place in Shirrell Heath.

Stunning winter bouquet of burgundy spray roses, Blueberry roses ( a sort of pinky burgundy which was perfect for the bridesmaids' dresses) skimmia, rosemary and a touch of berried myrtle for that natural, slightly rustic feel.

Champagne roses, burgundy spray roses, skimmia, rosemary and berried myrtle make a lovely wintery bouquet for the bridesmaids.

Buttonhole of burgundy spray rose, rosemary and holly leaf ( spineless !) for the men. Tracey and Ed wanted something a little different and with a hint of rustic for the buttonholes and this design fitted the bill perfectly.

Ladies' cream corsage of rose, spray rose, rosemary and myrtle.

Blueberry rose, burgundy spray rose and skimmia with myrtle and rosemary make a lovely corsage.

Church pedestal with candles, mixed seasonal foliages and berries, twig, cream and burgundy roses and lisianthus, lovely for a winter wedding in a small country church.

Tall, rustic but modern table centre of twig, mixed winter foliages and berries, cream and burgundy roses. The vase is covered with twig to echo the shape of a tree and the "branches " are decorated with cream lisianthus and skimmia. The effect was quite striking.

The pink up lighters  looked fantastic but played havoc with my attempts to photograph the flowers. The low light levels didn't help - sorry for the quality here !

The tall table centres were mixed with these co-ordinating low designs. A posy of mixed winter foliages and berries with cream and burgundy roses lies flat to the table with tall spires of twig decorated with cream lisianthus and skimmia creating the impact.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Tracey and Ed for asking me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I absolutely loved working on this unusual scheme for you. Very many congratulations on your marriage.
